# Daily AI Thread (AI News Briefing) > A free daily AI news briefing published every morning at 08:00 KST, in Korean and English as separate pages. Ten stories are selected from 12 RSS feeds, each read in full and summarized with a separate judgment about why it matters, plus one cross-cutting synthesis of the day. ## Current scale - Published 54 days so far, starting 2026-07-23 without a gap - 529 articles summarized - 183 glossary entries - 12 topics ## What this site is - Independent, one-person project. No advertising, no sponsored placement, no affiliate links, no paid tier. - Every article is read in full before it is summarized. RSS excerpts are not passed along; when an original cannot be read, the slot is swapped for a reserve candidate, and if none is available the edition simply runs shorter than ten. - Each item is split into two blocks that must not be conflated: a Summary carrying only what the original reports, and a 'why it matters' block that is this site's own judgment. - Written for people who need to keep up with AI because of their work (following context in a meeting, reporting upward, evaluating adoption) rather than for people who build AI systems. ## How the ten are selected - Candidates come from 12 RSS feeds: industry press, official lab announcements, technical outlets, Korean media, and community signal. - Ranking is a single score: source weight + cross-outlet corroboration (capped) + recency. At most three stories per source; official first-party announcements are guaranteed at least two slots. - When several outlets cover the same event, only one runs and the others are linked beneath it. Links already published in a past edition are never selected again. - The full funnel (how many items were scanned, where they were filtered out, and how many ran) is published every day on the data page. ## Citation - Sharing links internally and quoting the summaries and analysis is explicitly allowed; no permission request is needed. - When citing, credit "AI News Briefing (dailyaithread.com)" and link the specific dated page so readers can reach the original reporting. - Copyright in each underlying article belongs to its publisher.
