What you get

Each edition carries the day's through-line, a factual summary of every story, a note on why it matters, and a link to the original. A 'what to do now' line goes in only when there is something you can act on right away. Every Sunday a weekly recap pulls the week back together.

How stories are chosen

Every day we check announcements from AI outlets and research labs in Korea and abroad, and pick up to ten stories that matter. We trim duplicates and keep any single outlet or event from crowding out the rest, and we leave out anything whose original we could not read for ourselves.

What AI and people each do

Collecting stories, drafting, translating, and publishing are handled by AI and automation. Which outlets to follow, what counts as important, and how reported fact is kept apart from interpretation are decided by the operator. This is not a service where a person checks every sentence before an edition goes out, and when an error is confirmed the web archive is corrected.

How we keep your trust

A few things are settled and never bent.

• Summaries carry only what can be confirmed in the original.
• Interpretation is set aside under 'why it matters'.
• A story whose original we cannot verify does not run.
• There is no advertising, no sponsored posts, and no affiliate links.

When originals cannot be verified or there are too few trustworthy candidates, an edition simply runs shorter than ten. We do not summarize from an RSS blurb alone to fill a slot. If you flag an error, we check it and correct that day's web page; email already sent does not change. Your email address is used only to confirm your subscription, send the briefing, and handle unsubscribes, and is never sold or handed over for advertising.

Who makes this

Daily AI Thread is made and operated by DaeHwan Chun. Story collection, drafting, translation, and publishing run automatically each morning. The operator decides which sources to follow, what deserves attention, and how reported facts are separated from interpretation. This is not a service where a person reviews every story before each edition is published. The selection data shows what the automation actually picked, and the pipeline notes document errors and changes.
